Ready, Set, Go
I have everything ready now for assembly line piecing and that is my favourite way to piece blocks. I have gone ahead and chosen all of the block components for the aster blocks being very mindful to make sure I don't repeat any fabrics within the blocks other than those four little qsts. I have decided to match those within each individual block. We will see how my little plan goes because I have learned to expect some rebels. ;)
All of the purple fabrics are cut and ready to go for my Wild Goose Chase blocks as well.
I have made a couple sample blocks already so I know where I am going and I can't wait to get there!

Hi Ellen
You go Ellen! I am looking forward to seeing the aster quilt top when finished. Such a pretty pattern.
Love sis
BOTH of these stacks of fabric bits promise to make gorgeous quilts (sometime in the future.) In my studio, however, they would surely need to be contained. Set out like they are, they would only promise to make a giant mess (at the first sign of a sneeze or of a flick of the ceiling fan switch!)
So fun to have it all prepped and ready to go! Happy stitching. Love the purple by the way.
