I really don't have that much more to do - maybe one or two rows but I slowed to a complete stop because I was having pain in my thumbs. You do know that if you don't work on something that it never gets finished. My thumbs seem to be okay now and I so hope that this will set a trend for the next year. :)
Wishing you all a very happy and healthy New Year! Stay warm - it is bitter cold out...brrrrr. I plan to ring in the new year nice and cozy and warm in my family room with a fire in the fireplace and quilting away on this quilt. I can't really think of anything better. :)
Linking up with Slow Sunday Stitching over at Kathy's Quilts.

LOVE that the seven sisters quilt is getting some attention! These quilts always make me smile. I have my frame up in the bedroom..... with the trip quilt staring at me asking for stitches. Maybe he will get a few today. Enjoy the stitching and hope you have a nice cozy New Years.
So happy to see your Seven Sisters quilt again. I intend to say goodbye to 2017 exactly as you. Slow stitching and a glass of wine is all I am asking for. Have a wonderful New Year, may it be full of scraps and health. ;^)
We are having family over for dinner and New Year’s Eve celebrations. I hope to get my stitching in earlier in the day before everyone arrives. The seven sisters quilt just wants to be done! Have fun stitching today!
Sounds like a wonderful plan! I may do the same
Hi,
Beautiful Quilt! Keep at it a little at a time and you'll get there for sure. Have a great New Year!
Hi Ellen
Love the colour of the little nine patches. On Ringo Lake looks like it will be a beaut! Looks like it could be the water/sky/sunset etc. Glad to see one of the beautiful Seven Sisters quilts getting the last bit of attention needed to be a completion.
Love sis
It will get finished in time! We were invited out, but opted to stay at home and cook homemade pizza and while my husband watches a movie I will hand quilt. I agree it doesn't get better than that!
It was 4 degrees here when I woke up this morning. I know it is colder for many other folks. I have several projects that have been staring at me recently. I hope you finish quilting this beautiful project soon. Happy New Year.
