I had a busy day yesterday but I was able to squeeze in a bit of sewing in the morning. I got more of the flying geese for Old Tobacco Road made and I am getting close to being finished. I did a count and I have already made 58 of the 94 needed. I think it really did help that I started working on them as leaders and enders during the construction of the center of the quilt top.
Most of the day was spent attending our son Adam's convocation ceremony. He graduated with his Master of Arts in English and has already started working on his PhD. We are so proud of Adam and the dedication and hard work that he has put into, and continues to put into, his education.
After the ceremony we all went out to dinner and spent a lovely evening together even though the restaurant was very noisy! :)

Congratulations to Adam! Great job on the Flying geese. Enjoy! ;^)
A huge congratulations to Adam!
I wish I was a leader/ender type of gal...I have several quilts held up because they need flying geese for sashing or borders and I don't like all that repetition!
Congrats to Adam!
Congrats to Adam... and for Mom and Dad to encourage education as being very important!
Leaders and enders do help things along.
